Grammar Dork!

This page will offer an opportunity to talk about grammar! Isn’t that everyone’s dream? To talk about parts of speech like:
Nouns
Pronouns
Adjectives
Verbs
Adverbs
and much more to come:)

We talk about these parts of speech by describing and identifying each word’s function.  Tell me how you run into parts of speech and have to evaluate them for function.

When does grammar get confusing?

When is your background knowledge of grammar helpful?

I never really liked grammar…but dont worry Mrs.V, now I love it because of you! You make all the boring PRONOUNS, ADVERBS, and MORE even more fun. Most student dont like a class for the subject, but the teacher…In this case reading and language arts are very fun for me!!! :D

I never liked having to point out adverbs or participle phrases (I don’t even know what that means). It is not like you are going to go to your job and say, ” In your power point on our company’s growth, you didn’t use the correct form of lie or lay.” Grmr iznt tht imortnt N r lves Ether.
