Giving In…Once bitten, Twice Shy
Posted by lev2000 on November 21, 2008
Alright folks, I have a confession to make.
I did not read a single Harry Potter.
I read two of the Uglies series.
I read ONE Lemony Snicket (A Series of Unfortunate Events) book.
The Twilight Sagas have drawn me in. Rather, the amount of energy that surrounds it has sucked me into reading the first of the series, Twilight. Students, teachers, sisiters and the general public alike have convinced me.
I cannot say I will see the movie (I can’t even remember the last one I did see), but reviews are rolling in. Check out the first one I came upon in my WWW search. Teachers on both sides of the walls rave. It suprises me that someone so geographically close to Forks would give it such a dismal review.
Tell me of your Twilight knowledge…movie, books, silly reviews….I want you to be the true compass of interesting literature.
Check out the movie trailer for some inspiration!

I am like the exact same, I have only read 1 page of a Harry Potter book, I read Uglies and Pretties in the series, and I have only read one book in the lemony snicket series. When I heard about the Twilight series I didnt think much of it because Im not into the whole vampires thing, but after the commercials for it I thought it looked really good. I finally started to read Twilight and I totally fell into the book, I couldnt put it down. I havent seen the movie yet, but I really want too.

When I was younger I started to read the Harry Potter series. I only read part of the first book and I didn’t think it was very interesting. I haven’t ever read the Uglies and Pretties series. I did start to read the Lemony Snicket series, but it wasn’t fun to read. I have heard of the Twilight series and the movie. I would like to see the movie because a lot of people say its really good. If I like the movie I may read the series.

Morgan,
Firstly, I cannot believe you are writing a comment instead of watching the Packer’s game right now. What are you thinking?
I’ve heard the movie doesn’t hold true to the novel. However, I believe a quality film carries the same mood, tone, overall message and theme throughout in order to compliment a novel.
I hope you get to see it for a few reasons; mainly, so that you can buy awesomely expensive movie theater candy!

i have read only two harry potter books the first one and the second one. they were a lot better than the movie in a way of explaining things. the movie only really told half the story just enuough to tell you wats going on. The leminy sniket books were good to me i read almost all of them in middle school and elementary school. The movie i thought explained them vary will from the book. The twilght bokks i never read i guess they are good. the only way i would go and see the movie is if there was a girl going lol
